HTC camera brighter than iPhone

In addition to photos, the new phones will offer Beats integration with music from any source, be it on your device or streamed from the web. The One series will also include 25 gigabytes of free Dropbox storage for two years, and thanks to Sense 4, they will be able to automatically sync music wirelessly from your computer.

The HTC One X is the flagship device in the new series, with a 4.7-inch screen, 720p HD resolution, and quad-core Tegra 3 processor. HTC will also offer an LTE variant of the One X that will run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 platform. The One X features a unibody polycarbonate design — a necessary upgrade for HTC, as its past phones weren’t the most durable devices.

Not surprisingly, the One S and One V are meant to serve mid-range and low-range customers. The One S is smaller than the X and features an anodized aluminum case. HTC didn’t hype up the One V much at its press conference, but we expect it to eschew the fancy case designs and large screens in exchange for a more affordable price.

HTC is also taking a different strategy this time around when it comes to bringing these phones to the public. Instead of slowly rolling them out across different regions, the One series of phones will launch globally in April. Chou said that 144 carriers around the world have already signed on to offer the phones.

HTC's clearly interested in lifestyle phones, as per their Rhyme smartphone (which was aimed mainly at women). This isn't to say the Droid Incredible or the HTC Thunderbolt were slouches -- they weren't -- but that with the Rhyme and now the Rezound, HTC is betting more directly on those who use their phones as entertainment and generic multimedia devices.

Without having a sample phone to put through its paces, it's hard to tell if the Rezound has the battery stamina to make it through a day of both conventional work and music on the go, though. There's a reason people still like having their music players and their phones separate -- especially if that phone's doing double duty as their work device.

HTC Rhyme, Android style to womanhood

HTC try to seduce women with the launch of the new Android smartphone. HTC Rhyme, thus its name, is the HTC phones is touted as the most stylish phones targeting the women. Previously known as HTC Bliss, HTC Rhyme was first marketed in the United States by Verizon Wireless starting late September.

The HTC Rhyme runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense UI 3.5 on top.

The smartphone will be launched first by Verizon in the US, on September 29. And also yesterday we heard that it’s going to make its way across the pond pretty soon after that and land in the UK on October 8 (unlocked) or October 17 if your operator of choice happens to be O2.


So here’s some good news for the Rhyme fans out there in the UK. It turns out you’ll be able to get a SIM-free and unlocked handset one day earlier than previously thought – on October 7. That’s when well known online mobile retailer MobileFun will begin shipping devices over to customers who’ve pre-ordered them.

In fact, you can already pre-order an HTC Rhyme from MobileFun. The price being asked is £389.95. If you feel like you just need to be among the first people in the UK to get their hands on one, you’re probably not reading this anymore, as you’re off to add it to your shopping basket. That’s fine.

HTC Sensation XE rely on Beats Audio technology

HTC Sensation, Android Phone with Dual Core

HTC smart phone vendors introduce new handsets, the HTC Sensation. This handheld device will be very powerful because it uses Qualcomm 8260 1.2GHz processor powered. HTC Sensation is very attractive with a 4.3-inch screen with 540x960 resolution QHD.
The operating system has been updated using the latest Android operating system, Gingerbread (2.3). HTC Sensation has a 1080p quality video recording features, with 8MP camera on the back and in front of VGA quality. The camera also uses an additional dual LED flash.

Xda-Developers forum has managed to put a personal themes in Windows Phone 7 (WP7) HTC. The method is easy, by editing the registry on the part of certain pre-config, in this case color.
Experiments they've done is change the color themes based on the will of the user, outside of the default colors. The following registry editing tricks presented by one member named 'Xboxmod'. But everything has been done, the risk of the user, here are the steps:

1. To begin, make sure the HTC Connection Setup has been installed first. This application can be searched on 'HTC Apps' in the Marketplace. For those not able to unlock, you must need a developer to do so. Use only ChevronWP7. If you have, install TouchXplorer to WP7 phone.

2. Make three kinds of registry edit as below. Here is a sample to change color from pink to blue theme.

3. Save a third on a notepad with the extension '. rgu'

AT&T HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone supports HSPA+

Alongside with Motorola's ATRIX 4G, AT&T is going to release two more to work with its HSPA+ network. One of them is the HTC Inspire 4G running Android 2.2 OS with HTC Sense UI. Like T-Mobile, AT&T now is calling its HSPA+ network as 4G network and this is the reason why the phone gets "4G" as part of its name.

The Inspire 4G ha a large 4.3-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen with 800×480 resolution, 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, and 4GB internal storage.

The HTC Inspire 4G is powered by 1GHz SnapDragon processor. It supports Bluetooth and WIFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and packs G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor. The phone has unibody aluminum frame and offers microSD slot for expansion.

AT&T will launch the Inspire 4G Android phone soon.

Windows powered HTC HD2 gets MeeGo 1.1

The gigantic Windows Mobile HTC HD2 has been spotted with MeeGo 1.1.

There were some initial problems, but recent tweets from Steve Smith says he has got the touch screen working.

The screen, as with the Android ports look a little stretched.

BTW, non-Nokia blogs are reporting the UI to be interesting. And those big, thumb-friendly buttons are very appealing. However, note that this is VANILLA MeeGo. Nokia’s MeeGo UI may be something else.

Eldar himself has said that Nokia’s MeeGo UI is much better and if the leaked MeeGo UI has any resemblance, it should be a great thing.

HTC Aria get update to v2.2

The HTC Aria has had a bit of a rough life on AT&T and it doesn't seem to be getting any better yet despite HTC now rolling out an official Android 2.2 for it in South East Asia. No sign of when (or if) AT&T plans on allowing HTC to roll it out for those of you making use of the device on AT&T but you could always hit up the leaked Sense 2.2 ROM. [Engadget via HTC]

HTC Magic to get Android 2.2 update, via Vodafone UK

The HTC Magic shall be REBORN! Vodafone UK, which launched the sweet little Android phone in the UK, has today confirmed long-running rumours of an Android update for the phone – announcing it’ll launch the 2.2 “FroYo” upgrade for the phone. And it’s available from today.

Other versions of the Magic hardware in other regions have received OS upgrades, but it was thought the memory-restricted Vodafone version had been abandoned after the network updated it to Android 1.6 last year. But it LIVES. Here’s the quote from Vodafone:

Android 2.2.1 (Froyo) is now available to Vodafone HTC Magic customers

Android 2.2.1 will give customers a number of improvements including: latest Gmail and Android Market clients; ability to save applications directly onto an SD card; support for USB tethering so the phone can be used as a modem; improved support for Active Sync Exchange (email, contacts and calendar sync); enhancements to Bluetooth; and enhancements to the camera. The update also includes the latest Google security patches.

How will customers get the latest software?

Customers’ devices will receive an automatic notification when the update is available for their handset. They can then choose to accept the update by following the on screen prompts or perform it later.
The roll out of the software is phased, so not all customers will receive this notification at once.
Because it is quite a large update, we’d recommend customers carry it out over WiFi, although it is possible to download it over 3G or GPRS.
The update is a two step download which will be triggered by automatic notification to the customer’s handset. The first step will change the bootloader. The second step will install FroYo after the phone has rebooted.

Checking software versions

To check which version of software the HTC Magic has:
1. Press the menu key, then touch “Settings”, scroll down to and touch “About phone”
2. The software version will be displayed here

HTC HD7 Review, Windows mobile phone design for 'Mini-Cinema'

One more new flavors of Windows mobile phone which was tested at the end of this year. If HTC 7 Mozart offers quality sound, then the phone called the HTC HD7 offers cinema entertainment in the palm. Check out the first part of this review.

The first time holding this phone, immediately thought of his cousin on the Android platform HTC Desire HD. With its 4.3 inch wide-screen siblings HTC 7 Mozart feels solid grip when used for browsing, or just read pdf files with Adobe Reader.


Still the same with other Windows Phone 7 phone, the HTC HD 7 has three main buttons on display bottom: back, home and search. No need to be pressed, simply touch it when using it. But watch out, if not careful these touch-sensitive keys will have trouble. Due to the lack of multitasking support, when we open an application and depressed by accident, we must repeat the application again (except when you are browsing with IE).

Carrying the same screen material with the HTC 7 Mozart, this phone has a sturdy screen and scratch-resistant. As a result users do not need to add a coating to protect the display systems. To try it, you can try out to scratch the screen HD7 with a key. As a result there was no blisters at all.

HTC Sync updated to 3.0

HTC's custom Windows-only syncing application, HTC Sync, has just been updated to version 3.0. Big changes include:

• Support for groups in Contacts
• Calendar syncing for up to 1 year in advance
• "My Favorite" item support to Contacts

HTC Sync works with most of HTC's high-end offerings, so those interested can find download and install instructions past the link. HTC Media Link DG H100 DLNA Adapter
