Bad misfortune can happen to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. Ranging from natural disasters to kidnapping. In times of emergency, you certainly need help immediately. But how can you preach to the position where you are nearby?
Do not worry, there is an exclusive feature embedded in LG which is named Safety Care. This application allows you to send a SMS text message to inform the address and coordinates of the point where you automatically to the nearest police through GPS or even during an emergency.

LG seems to have done the settings that apply emergency numbers, such as 911. During the emergency period, your phone will only be contacted by the numbers that have been set and without the need to press anything, then the incoming call will be answered automatically and immediately go into speaker mode.

  1. Enable applications by tapping the Safety Care icon on Menu page.

  4. When you tap one of the panels (except Help, because it only contains usage information), it will be a notification stating that your location information will be used when sending emergency messages even if GPS or Wireless Network in the off state, and the use of mobile data that would be imposed additional cost.
  5. If you would like to make an emergency call, then you have to first enable this feature. At the same time you can add more than one emergency contact from Phonebook.
  6. Once you turn on this feature position, after that, activate My Location notice to add a position where you are with GPS. Same steps for Emergency Call Forwarding activation, whereas the activation My Location features, you are asked to enter emergency contacts.

LG Optimus Vu challenged Galaxy Note

LG launched the presence of new Android handset, Optimus Vu. With a large screen that is said to be a combination of smartphones and tablet computers, Optimus Vu intended to challenge the Galaxy Note made by Samsung which already comes first. LG has released official pictures and specifications of Optimus Vu.

This handset has a 5-inch landscape IPS 1024x768p display, slightly smaller than the Galaxy Note which has 5.3 inch screen. Both phones are categorized in the super large segment. But this one is a bit different in its form factor. Not only to the Note, but to all smartphones. It has a 4:3 screen ratio, making the device oddly wide.

But if there is anything special about this device is its sleek and sexy aesthetics. When the Lumia 900 was revealed, many Android enthusiasts were upset that the device didn’t come to the Android team. IF you were one of those, this might be the smartphone for you, as it is very similar.

LG Optimus Vu Specifications:
* Android 2.3 (will be upgrated to Android 4.0 soon)
* 1.5GHz dual-core processor
* 1 GB of RAM
* 32 GB of internal storage
* 8 MP with AF LED rear-facing camera / 1.3 MP front-facing camera
* 2,080 mAh battery
* Dimensions: 139.6 x 90.4 x 8.5mm

The other specs are good, but nothing out of this world. The battery is larger than many devices, but not by much. And 32 GB of internal storage are quite tempting. We wonder how the device will feel in the hands, though, with its wider form-factor. It will probably be much harder to use the device single-handed.

The device is also only 8.5 mm thick, making it the slimmest LTE device around. This adds to its good looks, which is something very luring about the LG Optimus Vu. But tell us what you think. Do you like this smartphone? Do you think you will be waiting for it, or will you go for one of those quad-core beasts to be announced at MWC?

LG Nitro HD ready to speeding in 4G networks

Smartphones in the now more abundant with the sophistication of features. LG Electronics is not to be outdone by its competitors and introduce LG Nitro HD, smartphones with LTE 4G connectivity as well as a number of flashy features. Unfortunately, Nitro HD seems to be only a limited circulation in the United States alone, bundled by AT&T carriers.
LG Nitro HD ready to speeding in 4G networksThis handset joins with Samsung Galaxy S II, Skyrocket and HTC Vivid as 4G LTE smartphones sold by AT&T.

The Nitro has a 4.5-inch True HD Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching (AH-IPS) display, runs Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor.

AT&T's first smartphone to sport a true high-definition screen is also equipped with 500 nits (candelas per square meter) display luminance, providing clear viewing in direct sunlight. Red, green and blue stripe pixels offer accurate, true-to-life color rendering, according to a press statement from AT&T.

Any device fitted with an HD resolution supporting resolutions up to 1280-by-720 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio should be ideal for viewing movies, TV shows and other multimedia content, such as games. The LG Nitro HD supports Zynga Poker HD, as well as HD titles from the Gameloft HD game store.

LG Nitro HD ready to speeding in 4G networks
The Nitro is also graced with an 8 megapixel HD camera and 20GB of memory, including 4GB onboard and 16GB via a microSD that comes in the box. WiFi Direct technology and DLNA allow Nitro owners to tap wireless HD content streaming options, allowing users to share HD content.

The carrier's 4G LTE network, which is vying for market share versus Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network, Sprint's 4G WiMax and T-Mobile's 4G network, is currently available in 15 markets and provides speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G.

AT&T's 4G LTE provisions aren't as clear cut as Verizon's are. AT&T enables 4G using HSPA+ and LTE technologies. The carrier claims that HSPA+, when combined with enhanced backhaul, provides 4G data speeds to customers with compatible devices such as the Nitro, Skyrocket and Vivid.

That 4G LTE backhaul deployment is ongoing, said AT&T, which earlier this month added Boston; Washington, D.C.; Baltimore; and Athens, Ga., to its existing markets of Atlanta; Chicago; Dallas-Fort Worth; Houston, Texas; and San Antonio, Texas.

Compare: LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D

New era where mobile devices to adopt 3D technology has arrived, starting from a portable gaming device which is then followed by the notebook and now cell phones did not miss. So far, LG and HTC are looking seriously into the arena of mobile phone competition with 3D technology. Through LG Optimus 3D and HTC Evo 3D, both the vendor tries to present a new experience that users have never felt before. What if the two met head-to-head?

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D

Design

Physically, both can be said to be large, even in the class of smartphones that use dual-core processor, Optimus 3D and Evo 3D is the thickest also has the heaviest weighting. Although at first sight these two phones are similar, but there are quite striking differences in the laying of the physical buttons of both, on the right side, Evo 3D put the camera shutter button side by side with the switcher to switch between 2D and 3D modes.

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D
While in Optimus 3D, only available button labeled 3D is useful as a shortcut to the 3D Space feature or switch between 2D and 3D mode when the user is in the camera features a photo or video recorder. In this case we prefer the shutter function is more useful, especially for users who want to maximize the 2D or 3D photography function on his cell phone.

Operating System

Both phones using the Android operating system but with different versions. Optimus 3D using Froyo while Evo3D have a newer version of Gingerbread. The difference also lies in the UI that is used, a new version of HTC Sense UI which is owned by Evo 3D looks attractive from lockscreen, homescreen, the main menu, to the tray notification area. The whole sector feels fresh with new experiences on offer, active Iockscreen example, this area look different with the kind of widget that can be raised as desired user complete with 4 shortcut to open the lock, as well as to the application, or specific features.

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D
The user interface in 3D Optimus had a different impression, at first glance looks nothing special, especially for us who have previous experience with the LG smartphone. But if we look at the homescreen already available 3D Space choices, where we can explore the application menu or 3D features. As mentioned earlier, we can reach this feature quickly by pressing the 3D button on the right side of the phone. This option is also available at the main menu on the 3D category.

3D Screen

LG Optimus 3D and HTC Evo 3D adopted the screen with a parallax-barrier technology, which both put the extra screen layer, which makes the left and right eye captures a different arrangement of pixels so that the brain interprets the image has a depth dimension. The good news is, this technology allows you to enjoy the sensation of 3D on both screens without the help of 3D glasses like on a tablet from LG, Optimus Pad.

Remember, the resulting screen 3D effects on both phones can only be felt the most when the screen in landscape position, not only that, the ideal distance between the user's eyes and the screen may be different on each person.

When you first use we may feel dizzy, and advised to rest my eyes when these effects begin to be felt. Personally, we feel more comfortable 3D content on the Optimus 3D, while the rival the shadow image of the second layer still seems disturbing. This opinion is very subjective again due to differences in the ideal distance is different for every individual. We must feel themselves to be able to judge.

Camera

Not only capable of displaying 3D graphics both phones equipped with the ability to produce images or video 3D through stereoscopic lenses in back of the phone. For 3D images, the maximum resolution on HTC Evo 3D is limited to 2MPx and Optimus 3D bigger with 3MPx, is when switching to video recorder mode, both share the same resolution ie 720p (HD ready).

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D
In 2D mode images on both phones also have a balanced resolution of 5 MP, while the 2D video recorder on the contrary, Optimus 3D back ahead in terms of being able to make a video resolution of 1080p high definition (full HD).

Both the Evo 3D and Optimus 3D not rely solely on the 3D camera, both cameras are also equipped with a myriad of features and effects that can we use to hone skills possessed mobile photography.

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D

3D Features

In order to maximize the 3D experience, both phones are also equipped with 3D-smelling content by default. HTC Evo 3D brings Spiderman 3D games should download itself when first run. Besides through the HTC Watch is also a bonus of Hollywood movies, Green Hornets 3D.

Not to be outdone, LG Optimus 3D is more generous to its users by giving 3 free games, namely Asphalt 3D, Let's Golf 2 (3D) and Nova (3D) not to mention an application of 3D book titled Gulliver's Travels. Not quite up there, there are also 10 pieces of short videos to 3D at the same time trying to watch a 3D video sensation, using Optimus 3D.

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D
To facilitate users to find the latest 3D games, Optimus 3D also provides a choice of 3D Games which is a launcher to get to the gameloft wapshop site. When this article was created, users can download for free a few games from the site including, Real Football 2011 3D, Assassin's Creed 3D, Spiderman 3D, Shrek Kart 3D, Racing GT 3D, Modern Combat 2 3D and Star Batallion 3D. Other games were priced at a cheap, 3D Avatar for example, games are adapted from the movie box office is only $0.9.

Outside the 3D features, Evo 3D and 3D Optimus has everything they need from a smartphone. Dual-core processor at high speed, wide screen, the OS that allows users to customize it as needed until the feature-rich browser, for purposes of exploring the virtual world. We can guarantee, almost everything we want can be met by both.

LG Optimus 3D vs HTC Evo 3D
Interestingly we can connect Optimus 3D to 3D television device via the mini HDMI port is available, while not so when using the Evo 3D.

NOVA Technology on LG Android phones

Rivals, coming from LG is introducing its new Android mobile phone connectivity 4G LTE, and display that claims to be very impressive. 'NOVA', thus calling LG technology on display at the cell phone, supporting low-end HD resolution of 720p or 1280×720 pixels.
With a size of 4.5 inch, LCD screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and more pixels than the retinal display is embedded in the iPhone 4 and 4S. With this technology, above the 4.5 inch size, the LG will accommodate 329ppi display. While Apple's screen, measuring 3.5 inches to accommodate 326ppi.

LG Android phones
“LG Optimus LTE is the first smartphone in Korea to offer vivid and clear HD content on a 4G network,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our goal is to be a leading player in LTE devices by continuously offering best-in-class products based on our LTE patents and knowhow.”

The rest of the phone seems to have stats that are quite comparable to the rumored specs of the upcoming Galaxy Nexus phone, which is set to be unveiled later this month and will mark the debut of Google’s Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. It packs in a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal storage, a 16GB Micro SD card, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front camera, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a hefty 1830mAh battery and a relatively thin frame at only 10.4mm thick, which isn’t a whole lot thicker than the 9.3mm iPhone 4(S).

On a side note, LG also claims to own 23 percent of the 1,400 LTE patents filed in the world, meaning it should be good when the eruption of 4G lawsuits starts any day now.

LG Optimus Note, Android Dual Core with a sliding design

Latest Android smartphone from LG Electronics showed up. LG Optimus Note, as the name suggests, is a phone with a dual core processor and a sliding keyboard style. An ad in South Korea displays Optimus Note along with its specifications. Similar to the LG Optimus Black, which was “the world’s thinnest smartphone” for about 30 seconds thanks to the release of the downright anorexic 8.5 mm thick Samsung Galaxy S II, the Optimus Note sports a 4 inch NOVA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

LG Optimus Note
Where things get interesting is that the Note adds a four-row QWERTY keyboard and bumps up the processor to a 1.2 GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2. The Note will be just 12.3 mm thick, which isn’t bad for a device with a sliding keyboard. That being said, we haven’t had a chance to play with this thing, so it’s hard to say whether the keyboard is worth the extra junk in LG’s trunk. Oh and the camera can put out 5 megapixels worth of questionable image quality. If you’re into video calling, then the front facing VGA resolution camera should make you happy.

Earlier this summer we saw Sprint’s roadmap leak, and it mentioned an “Optimus Slider”, so there’s actually a chance that this thing will make it across the pond. It’s the perfect smartphone to offer alongside the Epic 4G Touch, which is Samsung’s Galaxy S II variant. Consumers will be able to choose whether or not they want a QWERTY keyboard. If LG manages to stick a WiMAX radio inside this thing, then it’ll be even better, but hopefully not at a sacrifice to the dimensions of the device.

LG Optimus Note
Are hardware buttons still something you look for in a smartphone or have you surrendered to the slabs of glass that have invaded nearly everyone’s handset portfolio? We find it difficult to justify buying something with moving parts. That and every millimeter counts now that screen sizes have steadily gone up from 3.5 inches, to 3.7, to 4.0, to 4.3, and now 4.5 looks to be the norm for 2012.

LG Announces Optimus Big

LG has recently announced the latest smartphone Optimus series, named LG Optimus Big. Regarding its existence, this LG smartphone is already known at the end of March. According to sources at Taiwan-based company, the phone will be sold at a price range of USD 750. HTC Sensation will go on sale in Europe mid-May and then will be visited the United States.

LG Presents 3D at 4G Smartphone

3DS Nintendo gaming device may be a three-dimensional (3D) without glasses first in the world. Do not want to miss, LG also presents a similar technology. But not at the gaming device, TV or laptop, LG became the first to bring it in 4G smartphone.

Announced earlier this week, LG Thrill 4G, the name of the phone, comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3 inch 3D screen and stereoscopic 5-megapixel camera to capture or record images and video in 3D format.

LG Thrill 4GTo display its 3D capabilities, Thrill 4G will access the 3D special segment on the Android Marketplace, called LG 3D Space. This segment will feature a variety of applications and 3D games to Thrill 4G, but LG has not told the specific content.

LG Thrill 4G
3D camera on Thrill 4G will support 720p HD video recording in 3D mode 1080p HD video in 2D mode. There is also the output capability via HDMI or wireless streaming DLNA.

LG Thrill 4G
This smartphone will be launched for the U.S. market, which is distributed by the operator AT & T. Reportedly, AT & T soon release it in a few months.

Same feature different styles: LG Optimus One vs. Samsung Galaxy 551

Both phones really have almost equal ability. Almost in all sectors to outperform each other while both are able to cover the shortage of each.
There's only one thing to note, that the certainty of the Galaxy 551 can be upgraded to version 2.3 is still unclear. Apart from that, the choice depends on your taste, will chose a thin Android or Android with sliding qwerty keypad facility.

Camera

Camera interface on the LG Optimus One feels more fun than the Samsung Galaxy 551. In the LG every change the screen orientation, motion effects look attractive icons. Also, access and management of the menu on the Optimus One tends to be more practical.
On the menu choices they had adequate stuffing facilities. Starting from autofocus, shoot mode, ISO, tag location until the color effect. The strength was nearly equal, they both insert a 3 megapixel camera which features autofocus.

When used for taking pictures outdoors, the camera on both these phones produce images quite sharp and capture fine details. On the Samsung looks likely to over-exposure if the lighting is excessive. While the LG slightly darker results. In the indoor session, the images they are relatively focused and detailed in enough light. But still there is noise and red dots are disturbing in some areas. Optimus One camera can be used to record video in VGA resolution (640x480 pixels). Good enough for the record though sometimes broken. When compared with Samsung Galaxy 551 which only offers a recording resolution of 320x240 pixels (QVGA).

Audio / Video

There was no significant change in both the music player of this phone. Interfaces appear with typical layout Android music player. There are still some shortcomings such as not providing equalizer features. But facilities such as filtering tracks via album and artist or song shuffle action is embedded in it.
Output quality Samsung Galaxy 551 is clearly more `kick 'because this phone has a special external speakers behind the body. The voice that sounded from the speakers are quite powerful and clear even though his bass sound is less audible.

LG Optimus One could not do much in this sector because the audio output that comes out feels less powerful because the speakers of this phone integrates with earspeaker. However, when
tested set of music through the headset, both capable of displaying a nearly equal performance. Another alternative in the audio sector is FM radio. Both have this facility. Practical interface but to listen to radio broadcasts needed a headset as a substitute antenna.

Well, specifically in sectors video player, Optimus One is superior because it can play video with Xvid and DivX codecs. While the Galaxy 551 can only play standard format.

Internet

In this case, the ability of both of them already support 3G / HSDPA with speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and Wi-Fi. Wifi technology in the phone is quite good in capturing the hotspot signal.
Additionally, this phone already supports the features and portablehotspot Tethering. You can share a mobile Internet connection from your phone to other devices over Wi-fi. Setup is easy and practical.

The browser on the LG or Samsung provides a refresh function, back and forward, add bookmarks, open a new tab and access the settings.
However, LG supports multitouch, so that zooming quite easily by pinching the screen. Additionally, Android v2.2 produced support for Flash Player 10.1, so you can enjoy flash on the browser screen display.

Optimus One provides several applications that integrate with mobile phones such as Facebook and Twitter. There are also applications Task Killer, which make it easier to close applications that are not needed. Application of other options such as Display, OI file manager, ThinkFeee Office and others complement LG Optimus One.
Samsung Galaxy 551 also provides several application options such as AllShare, Screen, Write and Go. Samsung's mainstay, is Samsung Apps and Task Manager that can manage easily and integrated applications.

Navigation features on Optimus One and Galaxy 551 is not a problem because it is available GPS feature supported Google Maps, Latitude and Navigation. Interestingly, Optimus One provides Ndrive. Navigation application that comes with maps offline in it. Presented detailed maps, complete with voice navigation and display 3D buildings.
Other than that, they already have the standard features of Android ranging from GoogleTalk, Android Market, Gmail and YouTube.

Next ... compare on Design, Screen & OS

LG Optimus One vs. Samsung Galaxy 551

War between the operating system is now heating up. But, fellow war operating system was no less fierce. Look at Optimus One LG and Samsung Galaxy 551. Equally supported by Google's Android platform both ready to compete.

Design

Similarly, Samsung is continuing to strengthen the ranks of the family 'Galaxy', LG continues to increase its variants `Optimus'. LG Optimus One comes with candybar form the big screen. Flat and sleek shape and rounded contours with no sharp corners rectangle make this android smartphone looks stylish when gripped, LG Optimus One heavy weight because of the dominance of metal material as the body frame. The rest, front and rear casing coated finish with resemble teflon that feels rough and not slippery when held.

Samsung Galaxy 551 was adopted candybar form, but combines a touch-screen technology with a sliding qwerty keypad. Hinge felt quite sturdy when opening the lid qwerty keypad. Apart from that, this phone looks much thicker than Optimus One is because combining the two components of the body.
Upper body panels to screen decorated with chrome trim around it, while the lower body panels occupied qwerty keypad wrapped in glossy plastic. One note, Galaxy 551 body wrapped in glossy finish is easy once littered with fingerprints and looks oily when attached by a sweaty hand.

Speaking of screen coating components on LG Optimus One, the quality is maintained based glassy solid. Is superior when compared to the Samsung Galaxy 551 display that feels `plastic' and give the impression being soft when pressed a bit harder.

Screen

LG Optimus One comes with 2.3 inch screen, 256K colors at a resolution of 320x480 pixels (HVGA). Diagonal screen is the same as Samsung Galaxy 551. Support colors on the Samsung screen which is 16 million richer colors, but the resolution is only 240x400 pixels (WQVGA).

When juxtaposed image displayed on the screen Optimus One clear but tends to dim. The difference with the Samsung screen looks brighter and colorful. However, the resolution of Optimus One is clearly superior, fonts and icons are printed on the screen feels more refined and sharper than Samsung's.

In the region of the touch screen, both are already packing the capacitive sensors that only respond to touch and caress a finger. For sensitivity and ability to respond to touch, Samsung Galaxy 551 appears to be more superior than the LG Optimus One.

Overall, from several experiments carried out starting from rolling the screen, execute the menu to typing messages, Galaxy 551 was more prominent action. The advantages of Optimus One because it supports multitouch features that simplify the magnification of the image or page.

Operating Systems

Keep in mind these two phones are both pinned Froyo Android OS (v2.2). Both also have equally added innovation to create a better experience when browsing mobile phone interface.
To support the performance of the operating system, Optimus One is equipped with a processor speed of 600 MHz while the Galaxy 551 loaded with 667 MHz processor. About both the operating speed can be practically equivalent. We often feel the effects of a less smooth transition, or circumstances for a split second lag when executing commands.

In LG Optimus One available option to use five or seven that can be fitted homescreen widgets and shortcuts. Samsung Galaxy 551 also injects seven homescreen, but there is no option to increase or decrease as in LG. Unfortunately, only Optimus One that offers Live Wallpaper.
At the main menu, LG Optimus One is to come up with the concept of grid. But there are variations that are served, ie, you can inject new categories in this main menu page. Later each column category you can fill the icon or additional applications.

While on the main menu on the Samsung Galaxy 551, the layout can be changed from grid position to the list. The default main menu in grid format consists of two pages (accessed by sliding to the left and right) that can be packed with 16 icons each. Interestingly, the number of pages can be multiplied if the main menu icon collection increases.
Related upgrade capability, reportedly Optimus One is ready for the next grade to version 2.3. As for Samsung Galaxy 551 there is no certainty whether this phone can be upgraded or not.

The rest of the phone is quite accommodate the communication needs ranging from the simple to the secondary. With a relatively high price of this phone it seems reasonable to purchase.

Multimedia
Various entertainment features were included on the C320i to meet the needs of its users. You can find a music player, FM radio, video player, and both photos and a video camera.
Music player interface appears simple by displaying some information about the audio file is playing but still nicely thanks to additional album art. Views can be changed into animated by accessing option> player skins> animated player on view now playing.

InTouch Lady actually already completed an internal radio antenna, it's just the radio signal reception quality is not good enough so you still need to plug in a headset to listen to the radio for a satisfactory result. You also can use the auto scan feature for storage channel radio station automatically.

Various multimedia files stored on the phone or memory card can be exported through my stuff. In it you can directly view the image or play video and audio files you have. At the beginning of my stuff various multimedia files are classified by type, such as pictures, video, sounds, games and so forth.

There was no special discussion of the C320i camera features, functions quite easily understood and relatively normal results but not disappointing.

Internet
For the purposes of the Internet, C320i provides two facilities the browser, Opera Mini and the default browser of course. Default browser actually been quite fun with a variety of shortcuts and features such as bookmarks, send the link, save the page and search text. In addition, the browser also supports multi tabbed browsing, it's just that this feature is limited to two tabs / windows are different. But for the purposes of browsing we still prefer Opera Mini, besides because already accustomed to using it, Opera Mini is also popular with a good compression ability. Opera Mini is also able to open more tabs while browsing.

Review: LG C320i InTouch Lady

Several times a vendor has released a special product to serve the segment of women. Call it the Samsung which also had issued a female version of Galaxy S which sold only 5000 units worldwide, Galaxy S Femme. And this time that LG mobile phones spawned countless diligent feminine, C320i newest product release. As usual this review will share experiences using the mobile phone also has a cool name InTouch Lady.

Design
C320i appear briefly when the condition of the slider is closed. Looks almost similar to the Nexian She with a slightly longer dimension so as not to look like a powder box. Gate micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack placed on the left side, and you can find the two volume control buttons on the right side. In the back pinned to the camera without flash on top of the loudspeaker.

Just below the screen are several buttons, ranging from four-way navigation plus OK button in the middle, flanked by the left-right softkey and buttons to accept and reject calls. What is special is the addition of multi-tasking key on the left and buttons to access the widget on the right.

When the slide is opened, you will find a full QWERTY keypad that is relatively comfortable thanks to the choice of rubber material, size and placement of each key that it fit in the finger. In addition to the rubber material on the QWERTY keypad, InTouch Lady more dominated by the plastic material with glossy finish that makes it seem more sweet.

Screen and Menu
InTouch Lady equipped with LCD TFT screen measuring 2.4 inches. And though standard-sized QVGA screen resolutioneven not enough to satisfy the eye reached the stage of remarkable. Despite official website of the LG mentioned specifications C320i screen as a touch screen, in fact, the product down to our hands was not. It is very unfortunate given that the error is trivial and should not be a vendor at LG.

Entering the area of the menu, by default you will not find a widget or a shortcut on the homescreen, which looks just the words "Quick" representing the left softkey, "Phonebook" to the right softkey and the menu icon that represents the OK button. To enliven the homescreen you can add a calendar, a clock in a different type of view (small, large, digital, analog and dual) or any function key. LG announces the LG Optimus Black, with NOVA display

LG’s currently doing its CES 2011 presentation, where it’s just announced the LG Optimus Black – an Android phone it claims will have the “world’s brightest” display. As well as being bright it’ll also be 15% more efficient than whatever LG used as its baseline display type.

Here’s a terribly poor image of the Optimus Black and its brightness boasts, ripped from the live video feed of the event:

LG also claims this phone can record and playback 1080p footage. It’s borderline exciting.

LG Optimus 2x Dual Core Tegra2 Specs

lg-optimus2xLG Optimus 2x is now available, making it the first Dual core Nvidia Tegra2 phone in the market. Nvidia's Tegra2 is the most powerful processor in the market serving two cores, each at 1Ghz, having onboard powerful Graphics processor capable of playing 1080p video with no problem.

LG is accelerating its Android Optimus line with a new Flagship phone featuring 8 megapixel camera. The phone features 1080p video-recording, and as earlier said, dual-core processor powered by ARM9 based Nvidia Tegra2.

The phone was earlier expected to make first appearance next year, but goodness and gracious, its here!

This phone also becomes the first phone (correct me if I'm wrong) to record Video @ 1080p FullHD video. In addition, phone features a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calls, includes microSD memory expandability, microUSB connectivity, and a 1500mAh battery. It has also got full 1080p TV-out via HDMI.

Right now the Optimus 2x runs Android 2.2 froyo, but LG has promised for Gingerbread in the near future.

Dual Core Tegra2 Android vs iPhone 4

Fasten your seat belts for the faster and smarter smartphones that would go dual core in year 2011.

LG Star would be the first android phone with Nvidia Tegra2 dual core processor clocked at 1Ghz x 2. The UI on this phone is much like the Samsung Galaxy S, but the most interesting part of this phone is its dual-core processor.

GSM Israel has got the first handson video for the LGP990 (aka the Star) compared side-by-side with an iPhone 4.

The handset is powered by a 4-inch display and 8MP camera, as well as a front-facing counterpart and an HDMI port. At this time its running on a non-optimized Android Froyo, and is expected to improve speeds with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which would be optimized for dual core Tegra2 processors.

Nvidia Tegra 2 offers full support for real-time run Full HD 1080p encoding, In terms of build quality, its sturdy, combines elements of plastics and metal.

The screen is very bright and very high quality and even though it (apparently) is not a Super AMOLED or SLCD.

Despite running non-optimized Froyo 2.2, it is still very fast relative to all other Android device we’ve seen and iPhone 4 at everything. It performs equally well vs. iPhone 4 even when Flash is turned ON. Now that’s a big thing. With Gingerbread, native support for Dual core Tegra2 will be embedded into the kernel, and hence make the dual core phones perform much faster than iPhone 4 or any other device in the market.

LG Optimus One, preview on camera, GPS and apps

Time for PART TWO of our odyssey through the LG Optimus One, the newest 3.2″ Android 2.2 phone to hit the UK. In PART ONE we looked at the phone’s interface and web options, so here we’re going to fire up the camera, take a few photo samples, mess around with the GPS – AND MORE.

Our Optimus One was supplied by Three UK. Three didn’t say we have to link to its site in return, but it only seems polite. We also have to send it back, so don’t go accusing us of going easy on it because we got it for free.

Here’s the Optimus One’s camera settings. While the sensor is limited to only 3megapixels, the Optimus One has a good range of options with plenty of scene settings, photo and video resolutions. It’s got lots of things to play with.

This is a tree. The council has been round to remove all the leaves and put them into storage for winter, so all that’s left is the twiggy bits.

This is a sign. You should now have enough raw data to be able to form your own opinion about the strengths and weaknesses of the Optimus One’s camera.

We had a special request from a reader to check the GPS connection. It works. We connected in just over 40 seconds and Google Maps Navigation was ready to go. It was a sunny day, although that probably doesn’t make much difference to satellites.

On the apps side of things, LG has included the ThinkFree Office tool, so you’re able to create DOCX text files and spreadsheets while “on the go”. Twitter and Facebook came pre-installed and setup as whopping widgets on a Home screen.
