LG Optimus 2x is now available, making it the first Dual core Nvidia Tegra2 phone in the market. Nvidia's Tegra2 is the most powerful processor in the market serving two cores, each at 1Ghz, having onboard powerful Graphics processor capable of playing 1080p video with no problem.
LG is accelerating its Android Optimus line with a new Flagship phone featuring 8 megapixel camera. The phone features 1080p video-recording, and as earlier said, dual-core processor powered by ARM9 based Nvidia Tegra2.
The phone was earlier expected to make first appearance next year, but goodness and gracious, its here!
This phone also becomes the first phone (correct me if I'm wrong) to record Video @ 1080p FullHD video. In addition, phone features a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calls, includes microSD memory expandability, microUSB connectivity, and a 1500mAh battery. It has also got full 1080p TV-out via HDMI.
Right now the Optimus 2x runs Android 2.2 froyo, but LG has promised for Gingerbread in the near future.
